Guest Photographer - Matt Chingos

I spent yesterday in Boston, MA spending time with my brother and avid blog reader Matt Chingos. Matt seemed to thinking the work of No Viewfinder would be ease to duplicate and reproduce. A short walk to the deli revealed that "The Art of the Accident" is a bit more of an art that he would like to admit.

Throughout the day, Matt grabbed the camera and snapped some shots (around 100 I would estimate). Here are highlights, none of them involving anyone going to the FBI.

My favorite and Matt's best shot of the day. I feel as if I'm being sucked into a storm by just looking at this photo.

Angularity, depth and color; the key elements for a great shot.

Not Matt's best work, but still nicely framed.


The direction of the road directs the viewer's eye while simultaneously giving the photo movement.

For his first shoot, I was very impressed with some of his shots. However, Matt, like myself, has a long way to go before becoming a No Viewfinder master.
