Fire Escapes

Whenever I pass an accessible fire escape, I always want to climb it. Maybe I've seen too many movies set in urban environments with distraught adolescents who find solace during the turbulent divorce of their parents in sitting on the rusty fire escape and thinking about how the other half lives. Or maybe I just like to climb things. I think it's more of the latter.
