Summer

For me, I want this summer to disappear into nothingness. For my parents who have to start teaching again in September, they'd like the days to move lazily. I'm just trying to live it up the best I can. Though I'm missing half of me, so it's a little tough at times.

Drink a beer for me if you can.

There's A Monkey In The Cradle!!!

A member of Abi's family just had a baby and they brought a cradle with stuff animals and play toys. This little guy looked so content. I wish I was miniature sized so I could snuggle up in the cradle with him.

Lifeguard Dad

Andrew and Margaret's Dad, my cousin Peter, enjoys some brunch time snacks while ensuring his kids stay above water. He manages to look so cool while doing it.

Nora Declares, "A Bug!"

One of my youngest cousins (she's a twin), Nora is a little sprite always full of energy and life (all of which she loves sharing with everyone around her). Here she discovers a bug in the pool and points is out for all to see!

Matrix Kids

This is Andrew, my cousin Peter's oldest son. I'm not sure what that makes him in relation to me, but he sure is a cute, fun kid. Here he is practicing Matrix moves of the diving board. He's a badass.

The Morning After

Flowers! Still beautiful and fresh. I hope I have a garden or a lot of money so I can have fresh flowers all around my house.

Do You Know What a Pergola Is?

Up until a few days ago, I didn't. This is a pergola. A pseudo-canopy that is very airy and covers a patio or deck or something of the sort. Pretty cool if you ask me.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is what some remembered the wedding as. Crazy weekend of great times!

Back In Action

After a little hiatus, No Viewfinder and Courage & Cloth are back in action. For the next two weeks, I'll be featuring shots from the brunch following my brother's wedding. With so much work and lots of errands on my days off, I haven't had lots of time to snap interesting photos. I hope you enjoy some of these.

To start it off, a shot of Matt & Abi the morning after their wedding night. There is a sparkle in Matt's eye that must be leftover from the consummation the night before.

Kiersten and Erin!

I think they both look cute, though they both hate this picture.

Chilling on the couches of some Greenport boutique (G-Po is getting surprisingly Hampton-esque these days, it's a little crazy!).

Crazy Piano

Classic

I've been mixing it up this week, but for this Saturday, I'd like to take No Viewfinder back to its roots. When I first started this project, I walked around campus shooting photos from my hip, trying especially to capture unexpecting passer byers. This photo is the perfect example of an amazingly framed shot of someone completely unaware they are being photographed. Plus, I love the color of his shirt.

My Friend Lauren vs. Vogue - The Mash Up

Lauren, Jillian and I spent a lot time in the Hitchcock elevator. This is Lauren's most dramatic moment; definitely could be a handbag ad.

Lauren, this is this the last post I'm torturing you with (I only have you lined up through the work week). Love you!

My Friend Lauren (The Amazing Remix)

Provided that she has plenty of endorphins, this girl is filled with amazing emotion. I captured Lauren in one of her more amazing moments.

My Friend Lauren (Radio Edit)

Lauren always carries this confident, passionate, you-know-you-want-me look that is simply irresistible. I don't think I could handle being this girl.

My Friend Lauren

My friend Lauren was unfortunate enough to get caught in my viewfinder on numerous occasions during my Hanover visit. This week's postings are dedicated to her.

I think this one would make a good American Apparel ad. She looks like coolio-hipster.

Ferry Boat

Sorry for the delay on No Viewfinder photos. Work has been picking up and then I disappeared up to Dartmouth for a few days. Being in Hanover gave me lots of time to take photos. I'm working in reverse chronological order. Here are two from the ferry ride home.

One Too Many

A big storm came through on Wednesday night. I drove around Shelter Island after work trying to capture some shots of lighting. I snapped a few shots while driving through the rain. This one reminds me of my days before rehab when I'd drive home after one too many.
