My Friend Lauren

My friend Lauren was unfortunate enough to get caught in my viewfinder on numerous occasions during my Hanover visit. This week's postings are dedicated to her.

I think this one would make a good American Apparel ad. She looks like coolio-hipster.

Ferry Boat

Sorry for the delay on No Viewfinder photos. Work has been picking up and then I disappeared up to Dartmouth for a few days. Being in Hanover gave me lots of time to take photos. I'm working in reverse chronological order. Here are two from the ferry ride home.

$100,000 Cars, Everyone's Got 'Em

This isn't only a thing with Miami, it's true on Shelter Island as well.

One Too Many

A big storm came through on Wednesday night. I drove around Shelter Island after work trying to capture some shots of lighting. I snapped a few shots while driving through the rain. This one reminds me of my days before rehab when I'd drive home after one too many.

Dartmouth Royalty

Well, not really, but I think this guy looks like he belongs in some royal court.

On Our Way to the Green

After lining up in the gym, our Class Marshals marched us out towards the Green. With camera in hand, I captured the moment from above.

Graduate Self Portrait

So I lied, kind of. When I said that yesterday's post would be the last pictures from the graduation weekend, I meant only the photos from my D40. During Commencement Exercises, I carried my Olympus SW790 Waterproof camera (in case it rained) and look a few shots.

Knowing how to take a good self portrait no viewfinder style is very important. I'm getting pretty good, if I do say so myself.

Guest Photographer - Matt Chingos 2

This is the last post of photos from my graduation weekend (and probably some of the last photos from Hanover for a little while). I thought it only appropriate to feature the talents of another photographer.

My brother traveled in from New York for my graduation. After his first and very successful No Viewfinder shoot in Boston, he couldn't keep his hands off my camera. While walking around and entertaining the parents, Matt snapped many shots. Here are the highlights.

Once again, a job well done, Matt!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day, Dad! This post is for you. You got caught in my lens during the post-Baccalaureate No Viewfinder shoot. You look very deep in thought. And Pop, I had a decent shot of you which is why you got posted as well. As always, looking good.
